Designed especially for e-bike and city commuting, the Urbanize NTA MIPS offers comfort, protection and also looks great. A number of thoughtfully designed features will make urban riding a breeze, no matter how strong your headwind is.

The Urbanize NTA MIPS will give you extra confidence when you’re riding in the city. It includes the Dutch NTA-8776 certification for higher speed e-bike use and MIPS protection to help reduce the risk of rotational impact injuries. Urbanize NTA MIPS has been awarded the Virginia Tech 5-star “Best Available” protection rating.

It’s also a very comfortable helmet, with the ATS Fit System offering progressive adjustment which eliminates pressure points. The head basket is adjustable and compatible with ponytails and a magnetic buckle make it quick—and stylish—to put on. Six vents will help keep you from overheating.

A panoramic lens protects your eyes from wind and debris, and magnetically secures to the helmet when not in use. An optional winter padding kit is available, which provides extra insulation when it’s cold.

A rechargeable rear LED light will help keep you visible in low light. When you get to where you’re going, take the light out to recharge and use the light mount to thread your U-lock and secure Urbanize NTA MIPS to your bike.

Features:

Adjustable Head Basket
Allows the back part of the retention system to be adjusted up and down depending upon your preference and comfort. The nylon ratchet system can be pushed high and out of the way, or low for a feeling of increased security.

Advanced Turnfit System (ATS)
Easily adjust your helmet by using the turn dial on the back of the helmet for an aerodynamic and secure fit. Lazer’s unique fit system prevents hotspots or pressure points by making the adjustment around the entire circumference of your head.

Rechargeable rear LED light
An integrated LED tail light to improve visibility from the rear in low light conditions. Rechargeable by USB.

Secure lens docking
Magnetic attachment allows you to secure your lens to the top of the helmet when you’re not using them. Makes it easy to remove and replace your lens even while riding.

Lock hole
Large rear vent that you can use to secure your helmet with your bike using a traditional u-lock.

Magnetic buckle
The magnetic buckle connects quickly and is easy to use with full finger gloves.

MIPS layer
The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) helps reduce the risk of rotational brain injury by isolating your head from the rotation of the helmet shell in the event of an impact.

NTA8776 compliant
NTA8776 is the Dutch helmet certification for speed pedelec and e-bikes with a maximum speed of 40kph. NTA8776-compliant helmets have been designed and tested for use at higher speeds.

Panoramic Lens
Panoramic lens provides crystal clear vision and protection. Integrates perfectly with the helmet for maximum aerodynamic performance.

5-star protection rating
The Virginia Tech impact testing uses the STAR evaluation system to determine the helmet’s ability to reduce linear acceleration and rotational velocity of the head resulting from a range of impacts a cyclist might experience. 5-star indicates the “Best Available” rating possible. Virginia Tech recommends the use of any 4- or 5-star rated helmet.
