The Gringo is the most versatile helmet Urge has ever designed. They were reluctant to call it “Greengo” because of course it is made from 80% recycled material. Limiting the impact of humans on the planet remains a fundamental cause for the French brand.
This helmet, with removable chin bar, is available in two versions; Gringo de la Sierra and Gringo de la Pampa. Always modular in one or the other version, but they said to themselves that Monsieur de la Pampa will ride most often without removing his chin bar and therefore have endowed it with maximum ventilation in the full version. Monsieur de la Sierra likes to ride with an “open” helmet, before putting on the chin bar for the descent. He will probably prefer this option with the ventilation grid , for additional protection. But fundamentally, it is above all the aesthetic criterion which will take the final decision; with or without a grill, it’s up to you to decide which one is more to your liking.
Regardless, the Gringo is extremely well ventilated with or without a chin bar and is perfectly compatible with masks or goggles. Enveloping and protective, it will be your ally to provide you with maximum security when the time comes.
